Once upon a time, Hayley was sitting in her classroom when her teacher came over with exciting news. “Hayley, you need to go to the hospital right away!” she said with a big smile. Hayley’s eyes widened. Why did she need to go to the hospital? Hayley jumped into the car and headed straight there. Her heart was thumping with excitement and curiosity. Finally, they turned a corner and there she was, a tiny little baby tucked into a cosy little blanket. Dad said, “Hayley, meet your little sister, Lara.” Hayley’s heart filled with joy as she leaned in to see Lara for the first time. The baby had tiny fingers and soft, pink cheeks. “She’s so little,” Hayley whispered, touching Lara’s hand. The baby’s fingers curled around hers. At that moment, Hayley knew that Lara would be the the best little sister in the world and that they would have so many adventures and memories together !

One bright sunny day up at the cabin, Waylon wanted to go on an hiking adventure. across flowers that were yellow, blue, pink, orange and purple. Along the way in the magical forest, we saw ants, grasshoppers, and colorful butterflies. The birds were singing to us as we walked the trail. We came across heather-filled meadows showcasing summer alpine wildflowers, blueberries, and huckleberries. There were black bears eating blueberries on the side of the trail. The sun was shining, and the air was clear and crisp. We talked about all of the plants, insects, and animals we saw on are adventure up the mountain. Papa was very proud that Waylon wanted to share his adventures with him. On are way down the mountain we laughed and played in the forest. We climbed trees and large rocks as we were hiking down. This hole is called a crater,” Grandma explained. Vika listened. Nibbles was my beautiful hamster, with soft, fluffy fur and big, curious eyes. I had gotten her as a present from my parents and she quickly became my beloved pet. Every day, I would spend hours playing with Nibbles in her brightly colored cage. She loved to run on her wheel and explore every nook and cranny of her home. There was always one treat in that Nibbles couldn’t resist, sunflower seeds. As soon as she saw me holding the bag of seeds, she would stand on her hind legs and squeak excitedly. One day, I decided to take Nibbles out of her cage and let her explore my room. As Nibbles grew older, she started to slow down and spend more time napping. Although she was just a hamster, she had brought so much joy and love into my life. My heart sank as I realized she had passed away in her sleep. I couldn’t stop the tears from falling as I said goodbye to my beautiful hamster.
