The story starts with them in bed being read a bedtime story by their father who has sholder length dread locs in his hair, where he talks about lots of fun places around the world he'd like to visit. As they fall asleep and start to dream that is when the adventure begins. They visit Egypt, Zimbabwe, Djibouti, Dominica, Haiti, Portugal, Thailand, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Fiji. The last page is them waking up for their dream excited about the magical adventures they had just had.

Dolphin: "I love shrimp too! Can I have some?" Scene 5 Starfish shared his special treat. Starfish: "I eat plankton. It’s small but fills me up." Sea Turtle: "That’s so unique, Starfish. I’ll try some!" Scene 6 The friends enjoyed their meal together. Dolphin: "Your food is so different from mine, but I love trying new things." Clownfish: "Me too! Sharing makes everything better." Scene 7 They laughed and felt happy sharing their meals. Starfish: "Our food is as colorful as the reef!" Sea Turtle: "And sharing makes our friendship even brighter."

"You must always grow near good water, and follow the right path," Oak said. "Let me tell you a story." The Story of the Good Tree Oak began: "There are two kinds of trees in this forest. One tree, who grows by the dry, dusty path, never seems to bloom. The wind blows its leaves away, and its branches stay thin. Stay rooted in goodness, and you will always bear good fruit.
