Gül goncalarını büyük bir dikkatle suladı ve yapraklarının üzerindeki tozları nazikçe temizledi. Ceren'in bu hediyeden çok mutlu olacağını düşündü ve yüzünde tatlı bir gülümseme belirdi. Ceyda kapı zilini duydu. Koşarak kapıya gitti ve karşısında Ceren’i gördü. Ceren mutfaktan gelen kokuyu duyunca heyecanla Ceyda’ya döndü ve "Ah, cevizli kek mi yaptın?" dedi.
