Anna and Peter find themselves transported to the magical Colourland when they enter their grandfathers garden. In Colourland they learn that each colour represents anemotion. They learn about the emotions in Colourland in an age appropriate way for children 4-8 years old. The emotions are Happiness, sadness, anger, fear, love and surprise. Each chapter adresses one feeling, and has questiones for reflection at the end. These can give the child an opportunity to prosess and practise using words to express how they feel.

No!” Then came Jeremiah Johnikin handsome as ever And with a confident grin he said “I will go sire, and do as you desire, I will battle this dragon bird” When everyone heard they spread the word Jeremiah Johnikin was to rid the land Of this pest that had gotten out of hand Into the woods Jeremiah went, to face that terrible dragon bird Whose scream was the most horrible thing you ever heard But Jeremiah Johnikin, brave was he, he had no fear He went where the other knights did not dare Up to that giant dragon bird, his sword in the air With one giant swipe, a jab and a smack Jeremiah Johnikin beat that dragon bird back It screamed and wailed, then lowered its tail Then fell sideways off the trail. Jeremiah Johnikin was able to see That the dragon bird was tied to a tree It wanted to go home, that’s why it screamed so loud And frightened everyone in the crowd Jeremiah Johnikin took his sword and cut the rope That had robbed the giant dragon bird of hope The Hope of going home So up he flew and away he went Free at last from his terrible torment.

So when circumstances seek to make us doubt, and the devil seeks to take us out, we hold up our shields of faith by believing that God is who He says and will do all that He says, even when it looks impossible. 3. John Jr explained to Durga that Taking up the shield of faith means being convinced we can trust God is completely. I trust what He says in His Word. I trust Him to love me, provide for me and protect me. I trust Him to make all things work together for good to those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose. 4. John Jr told Durga that fear that causes us to doubt, then it’s faith that encourages us to trust. They decided that their confidence resides in God, believer, not in ourselves or our talents or friends or some other misguided hope.

Once upon a time, in a magical land called Alphabetia, the letters of the alphabet lived together in harmony. Page 9: Jesus then miraculously fed over four thousand people with just a few loaves and fish. "How can he feed so many with so little?" Osh gasped, his mouth wide open in amazement. Page 10: "It's a reminder that God can do anything, even the impossible," XL said, her voice full of wonder. Page 11: On their way back, they discussed how important it is to have faith and show kindness to everyone. "It's not enough to just follow rules," Osh said, recalling the Pharisees. Page 12: Back home, Osh and Ish tried to be more compassionate and understanding, realizing it's what's in our hearts that truly matters.
